Off in the haze of the ever-shrinking Lake Bonneville (i.e. the Great Salt Lake), just west of Ogden, lies Antelope Island, a Utah state park home to a handful of bison, well-preserved shorelines, and some very old rock. It’s also home to some gut-busting sandy climbs, miles of fun and scenic singletrack, and epic desert landscapes reminiscent of Big Bend National Park. And Mars. At a whopping one hour and ten minutes from Logan, I’m a little ashamed to admit that today was only our second time there, but it certainly won’t be our last.
